At BISCI we continue to be a voice, advocate, research team and advisory team for Sustainabilty Action. The recent AR6 IPCC report on the Physical Science Basis for Climate Change evidences further how we must continue our work to change our global activities rapidly. More lobbying of government for climate action alongside #fitfor55 and #eugreendeal and more support to businesses to become more sustainable are just two things urgently required to ensure a liveable planet within our generation.

The Brightlands Institute for Supply Chain Innovation had its first event at the Brightlands Greenport Campus hosting around 200 guests with exiting workshops around digital and sustainability.

After over three months of virtual meetings, emails and video conferences, Brightlands Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (BISCI) had its first in-person Summer Meeting on 10 July. The venue was a beautiful vineyard on the slopes of Fort Sint Pieter and the gracious host for the evening was Ton Geurts, Business Development Director at BISCI.

Grant and Shreyas officially joined BISCI on 1 July as project managers. In this role, they work closely with Business Development Director Ton Geurts and support projects involving sustainability and digitalisation.
